Q : Do your Japanese courses focus on speaking skills?
A : Yes, they do. Our Japanese courses put an emphasis on all four skills :
(speaking, listening, writing and reading), particularly speaking skills.
In addition to the grammar topics covered in the textbook, the instructor will also include many relevant
role-plays and discussions to enable learners to communicate effectively.

Q : I have studied Japanese before. At which level should I enroll?
A :

If you have studied Japanese before, you will be required to take a placement test. It aims to check your
current Japanese level and assign you to the most appropriate grade. Please come to our school to
check the textbooks and decide which test you would like to take, fill in an enrollment form and pay the
test fee of HK$30.

The General placement test is suitable for students who have studied Japanese for between 31.25-250
hours or below the JLPT N4.

The Advanced placement test is suitable for students who have studied Japanese for between 250-500
hours, i.e. JLPT N3 and N4.

The Upper-Advanced placement test is suitable for students who have studied Japanese for between
500-750 hours, i.e. JLPT N2 and N1.

You may call us on the designated date to check your test result. Please understand that our current
students will be given first priority to enroll in their preferred Japanese class. Whether you can enroll in
your preferred class will depend greatly on availability at that time.
