We are happy to announce that our Awaji Learning Holiday Program started on January 13, 2023. Our students travelled from Hong Kong to Shizuki, where their accommodations are, on their own without any problem.

They were excited to join the Pasona facility tour which included Nijigen no Mori theme park, Hello Kitty Show Box 3-D theatre, Challenge Farm and the newly opened Zenbo Seinei (Zen retreat facility).

They did self-introduction presentations in Japanese at the opening ceremony.

The Awaji Learning Holiday Program was kicked off by Ms. Akemi Aota, Chairperson of Pasona Education, and Ms. Kazumi Matsumoto, Managing Director of Pasona Education. The opening ceremony was held at Pasona Workation Hub Uzaki.

The students enjoyed the welcome lunch with Ms. Hiromi Kameshima, Principal of Pasona Education, at Aman no Shokutaku.

They started their Japanese lessons at Pasona Workation Hub Shizuki.

Some of the Japanese lessons were held at Pasona Workation Hub Higashiura.

They self-studied at the free space in Pasona Workation Hub Shizuki with a wonderful sea view. This program was designed as a flipped classroom, in which students prepared for the face-to-face lessons by watching video lectures and doing exercises.

One of their action learning tasks was to interview Pasona staff. This task helped the students learn more about life in Awaji as well as improve their Japanese communication skills.

They sometimes attended Japanese lessons in a Japanese-styled room at Pasona Workation Hub Higashiura as well.
