The participants had a very enjoyable time talking with the world-famous ballerina, Ms. Emi Hariyama, in the event held on May 13, 2023.
Ms. Hariyama was a very friendly and cheerful person who answered all the questions from the participants openly. Some of the questions included how she started learning ballet, which country she would choose as a “place to live”, what the differences between Japan’s and Russia’s ballet, how she took care of her feet and hair, how she thought about political situations affecting art and culture, what her future goal was, etc.
They were all fascinated by Ms. Hariyama’s stories and beliefs. During the event, they had a great chance to learn some basic ballet moves.
