Announcement of “VIP Attendant Haute Couture Dresses”! Created by 97-year-old active fashion designer Harumi Fujimoto using traditional Japanese techniques
On September 3rd, the pavilion “PASONA NATUREVERSE” unveiled the costumes that will be worn by attendants who serve VIPs. The costumes were designed by Harumi Fujimoto, a 97-year-old active fashion designer who creates dresses using traditional Japanese crafts such as Nishijin weaving and Yuzen dyeing. Through designs that make full use of traditional Japanese materials and techniques, we will deliver Japanese culture to people from all over the world who visit the international exposition.
