Each grade takes 30 hours to complete and is 3 months long.
Students who have completed the General Japanese Course Grade 1-4 can take the JLPT N5 test.
Students who have completed the General Japanese Course Grade 5-8 can take the JLPT N4 test.
Students who have completed the Advancing Japanese Course Grade 1-4 can take the JLPT N3 test.
Students who have completed the Advancing Japanese Course Grade 5-8 can take the JLPT N2 test.
Students who have completed the Mastering Japanese Course Grade 1-8 can take the JLPT N1 test.

We use “Bunka Shokyu Nihongo” (Book 1), including the Exercise Booklet and the Hiragana Notebook.

The tuition fee of the Grade 1 Course is HK$1,920 and the material fee is HK$280. In accordance with the EDB’s instructions, students are required to pay the tuition fee in four installments. The tuition fee will be settled every three weeks. The 1st installment will be settled in cash or by cheque. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th installments will be settled by autopay. Please come to our school for enrollment. You can also ask a friend to handle it on your behalf. No reservation can be made by phone or by email. Enrollment will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

All of our teachers are native Japanese speakers. They are experienced and professionally-trained. We teach Japanese in Japanese, supported by English, pictures, posture and class activities.

Students who have studied Japanese before are required to take the placement test so we can assess your Japanese level. The placement test fee is $80.

General
The placement test consists of the writing part only. The writing test will be held online via Google Form.

Advancing and above
The placement test consists of 2 parts : speaking and writing. The speaking test will be held over the phone and the writing test will be held online via Google Form.

No, they aren’t. The G1-G8 Courses are not eligible for the CEF reimbursement anymore. Only the Intensive General Japanese Course Stage 1 and Stage 2 are still eligible for the CEF reimbursement.
