On April 12, 2026, with the cooperation of the Nagasaki International Tourism and Convention Association, we held “Let’s Talk with Local people! Japanese Workshop Vol.1: Nagasaki.” for intermediate to advanced learners. Mr. Junsuke Tanaka, Secretary-General of NPO Nagasaki Comprador, joined online to give a lecture on “The City of Nagasaki.” Both those who had visited Nagasaki and those who had not deepened their appreciation of its culture, history, local people, and cuisine, with many expressing a stronger desire to visit. Active exchanges with the speaker made the session lively and different from regular classes. The remaining three sessions will be held on April 26, May 10, and May 31.
